This past Sunday my mom and I finally got a chance to check out the Creative Africa exhibit at The Philadelphia Mudeum of Art. The exhibit features photography, fashion, architecture and music from various countries located in Africa. Walking into the museum we were greeted by the friendliest security guards and a nice cool building( it was super hot on Sunday). Each installation was beautiful, with plenty of background information on what we were crying. My mother particularly like the computer animations of the Ankara fabrics we viewed. If you haven’t had a chance to check out this exhibit you are truly missing out!
